"A VOICE OF REASON FOR VIRGINIA"
Greetings and welcome to our official website.
A lifelong native of the district, like most of you I am a working person. Married with two grown children, I run a small home improvement business. I completed a Bachelors’ degree at age 34, served as a foster parent, was a CASA volunteer, and I currently serve as Co-Chair and State Representative for the Lynchburg Green Party.
Like most families in our district, my family has felt the rippling effects of our dysfunctional government. Many decent, hardworking people have placed their trust in political parties that continually let them down. Wages are stagnant while the cost of living continues to rise. Job security is non-existent, and insurance companies continue to plunder working families. Things must change.
I believe the sole purpose of government is to serve the people's interests. This is quite simple. Unfortunately, it has become all too obvious that our political leaders would rather serve corporate interests and large campaign donors than serve the interests of the American people. I for one am tired of watching it, and I believe the people deserve a real voice in government.
For this reason I have placed my bid for the Virginia General Assembly. I have taken the pledge to reject corporate campaign money, choosing instead to run a people-powered campaign that listens to voters. In November, I am asking you to put aside Party politics and vote for a new direction and a new vision for Virginia.
Thank you. Please Go To 'About' above for more info.
